Project Description

There were several specialist features including the artwork corridor which consisted of tiled walls to a bespoke artist design. This included a waterfall rill system allowing water to run either side of the corridor along its full length. The carpentry and tiling works were closely integrated as we had to batten out the walls to support the tiling and ceramic handrails. The corridor was also laid to falls with several steps further adding to the complexities of the installation. This area has become a focal point of the spa and the client is incredibly happy with the end product.

The bespoke joinery package was extensive and required heavy coordination with the MEP package. This included the lighting in the timber ceiling above the swimming pool, LEDs within the lockers in the changing rooms, heated benches, and integrated lighting within the retail display units. The Joinery generally had a fluted finish which made it particularly eye catching for this exclusive spa.
